Prayer Requests for Sharron,Gary, Mary Lou,and Dick and Rosie

I have never been at a loss for the spoken words but to put them down to be read is not my thing.  The events of the past 2 or 3 years since this contact has been set up is heartbreaking.  When I think of the illness that has come to classmates and their loved ones makes me very sad and wonder who's next.  Tho I can't express my thoughts and am not good at putting a prayer together I just want each and everyone of you to know you are in my daily prayers and thoughts.  I love you all and wish for health and happiness and if any of our time has to come to an end please dear God make is fast and painless.  When we get to be with you please let us look down and ease the pain and suffering for our friends and loved ones.  God bless you all, Phyllis Martin Braidwood

Prayer Request for Sharron Yettaw McDonald  March 5, 2010

I would appreciate all of your prayers for my wonderful wife of 50 years. She has early dementia and there is no known cure. She takes medicine to slow the progress but the decease keeps progressing. She was diagnosed about a year ago and is doing as well as expected. Her short term memory is almost completely gone and some of her long term memory. We are doing well and spending the winter in Arizona. We don't know what the future holds for us but need your prayers to accept and cope with our condition.
Peace and Love---Rod McDonald

Update April 28,2010

Update on Sharron-----Thank you for being concerned abou Sharron.  Her dementia is in the very early stages. She is being treated by a very good and respected doctor who specializes in gerentology She is on 3 memory pills and one anti depresant The memory pills are like a lubricant for the brain. They keep the nerve connections lubricated to help them to process information. We have her tested and examined at the University of Michigan (a 4 hour test) and she scored very high on everything except short term memory. They are happy with her doctor as he is respected in this field. The meds re designed to slow the progression of the decease but there is no cure at this time. Stress is not good for the decease so we try to keep things low key. She has had the responsibility for her mentally challenged brother and she has given most of this responsibility to her sister. I have given up all my extra activities especially Bay Scouts to spend all my time with her. I don't want to miss any time with her that we both can remember. We spent 3 months in Arizona this winter and we hope to continue doing things together while we can. The decease is progressive and we don't know how long or what is in the future. We just take one day a time and are grateful for what we have had and what we still have. She functions pretty normal but if you are around her for awhile you will notice something is different. She will tell you something and maybe 5 minutes later tell you the same thing as if she never told you before. She doesn't know what day it is but I tell her when she asks and we go on. I think she is holding her own and it is hard for me to notice if the decease is progressing as I am so close to her and changes are so subtle. We are still very happy and much in love and hope we can keep this decease at bay. The doctor has told her she will be happy all the time as the decease progresses because she won't know or remember but it will be tough on me. That is scary but God will take care of us. Thanks again for your concern and keep us is your prayers.   Rod McDonald

Prayers for Sharron  March 5, 2010
Sharron, all of your classmates love you.  We always have loved you.  We will love you even more in this time of need.
Jesus take Sharron to a special place in her memory where she will remember her friends, her children and especially her husband.  Ask the Holy Spirit to bring life to those memory nerves that are dead and restore your precious daughter to the full life she has in Father's eyes.  Jesus you taught us the Father's prayer and I am now saying it with you, Father let your will for Sharron, as you see it, in heaven be the very same right now on earth and your beautiful Kingdom come for Sharron and Rod right now on earth just as you see it in your heavenly place.  Jesus, I love your promises because they can never be broken.  We all honor you as a loving parent.  We are nothing without you.  Thank you for making Rod and Sharron a complete one before you now, in the name of Jesus I pray this.  May You receive all honor and glory from their lives.
Thank you Lord,
Your loving servant,
Bill

I want to thank you for informing us of Sharon's illness.  I know  that it is difficult for you to share but in doing so we may help in lifting some of the burden from you with good thoughts and prayers.  My father was taken from our family with the same illness.  It was difficult to loose a parent but to loose a spouse I can't even imagine!
I will remember Sharron as a girl always with a smile and a kind comment.  I know this is difficult time for both of you.  You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers for the days to come.  God bless both of you.  Ernie Pobocik

May peace be your friend and strength your next door neighbor. God be with you and your family as you enter this new phase of your life. Know that our love and prayers are with you. Ben and Dorrene

To my Dear Sharron:
Your angelic look and twinkling eyes are beautiful.  May God  watch over you and take care of you and Rod.  We do not know the future however the power of prayer is something that we can do for all.  Love, Mary Lou (Bourdage) Coleman  :)

I meant to include in my reply to you my concerns regarding Janet Treadeu, Sharron McDonald and MaryLou...they have all been in my thoughts and
prayers and I just want Manny Rod and MaryLou to know that they are very important to all of us who know them and have been their friends over
all these many years.  As we all get older these things will happen...it is the human condition.  It helps to have the support of our friends in our times
of need.  I pray that God gives each and every one the strength to carry on and care for our loved ones.  Be strong.  When I get home and get to my
computer I will get their e-mail addresses and write to each and every one as soon as I can, but I'd appreciate it if you would forward my thoughts to
them in lieu of my e-mail.  Using this library computer is very limiiting and I am without my normal resourses!
God Bless us ALL.
Love,
Dick

Prayer Request for Gary and MaryLou
I would like to let you know that Gary has only 2 more Chemo treatments and seems to be doing good.  He is back in Michigan receiving these last treatments.   Lets hope it goes in remission.

I am doing really good since I had my breast cancer surgery in Sept. I had a lumpectomy and 33 radiation treatments ending in December.  I was lucky it was found early and did not have to have any chemo.  Reminder to all female friends and aquantiances get your yearly check-up as that was how mine was found.
 Sincerely,
Mary Lou

Gary is having a treatment tomorrow the 11th and one on the 25th.
Please remember Gary tomorrow, the 11th and again on the 25th.

I had a follow-up today with my cancer doctor and all is well.  I just have to keep taking my cancer drug daily for the next 5 years.

I am praying for all including myself, Gary, Janet  that  we will find a cure for Cancer and that  we and others will not have to deal with it again. I am a supporter of the Relay for Life and Taking strides for Breast Cancer.  Sharron is in my prayers also.

Please everyone support the cause.    Thank you.

Update Gary and Mary Lou July 17, 2010

HI:
Just want to let you know that Gary's surgery went great.  We are back in Michigan.

The 2 spots were smaller than the scan from last year.  He had the same Doctor that burned the spot on his liver before.  Now all of the spots are gone.  The Doctor also took out his Gall Bladder as he had a gall stone and said this would save a surgery down the road.

As you know my mamogram came back good so I only have one Doctor left to see this coming week.  I will have another mamogram in  September.
As always thanks for the prayers.

Good friends and family are part of the healing process along with confidence in your Doctor and POSITIVE MIND WITH SURVIVAL ATTITUDE !!!!

Sincerely,

Mary Lou

Lord Jesus remember to touch Gary again and cast out the last strand of the cancer.  Bless the doctors as they administer the treatment and give Gary total healing, just as you did for his mother.  Thank you, Lord,  Bill

Thank you Lord for setting Mary Lou free from her cancer and making her
such a strong  and loving model for the rest of us.  We can't imagine how much you love her Lord but we do know we love her a lot.

Prayer Request for Rosie April 29, 2010

To all of my Holy Redeemer friends,
I'm sorry that I have been out of the prayer loop this winter...I've been very busy fighting my own battles down here in Las Cruces with Rosies deteriorating health.
Her IV port became infected and in the ER they administered a strong antibiotic that rapidly put her into anafalactic shock along with the septecemia from the
infection.  Within five minutes she turned purple and swelled up like a balloon...her heart beat was up to 250 bpm and her blood pressure borttomed out and she
died.  The attending ER Dr. Einig used the crash cart on her and they started boosting the amount of electricity they were putting to the paddles five different times
and they were finally able to get her heart started again and under control...it took four Drs. and nine nurses working on her for two hours to get her stabilized, but
by then she was on life support systems.  They were concerned about stroke but it turned out not to be a factor...she was admitted into ICU for a week and then
progressed into a regular room for another week before she was discharged to come home.  Being in bed for two weeks weakened her legs to the point that she
was unable to walk.  She finally was able to use a walker for another week and is now back to just the cane.
The IV port had to be removed as the source of infection was isolated, but the septecemia was body wide...bacteria filled her blood and had to be controlled with
massive amounts of antibiotics.  On her last day in the hospital the Dr. installed a new IV port on the other side of her chest and now,. a week later, they examined
her new IV port yesterday and it too seems to have some infection at that site!  She was started on another course of strong antibiotics for the next ten days, but
we have high hopes that this will take care of the situation.  I'm hoping to get her well enough to be able to travel back to Michigan around May 10-15.
Wish us LUCK and God speed!!!
Warmest regards to you all.
Dick and Rosie

Prayers for Rosie
April 29, 2010
Dick, my heart stopped when I read,"...and she died."  Now my heart is filled with faith for Rosie.  Thank God her doctors did not give up on her.  I believe that ER room was filled with God's presence and his angels, each cheering for Rosie.  Dick, it occurred to me that Rosie may need a special prayer, called the, "Hedge".  It is found in the book of Job.  Remember God asking Satan what he thought of Job?  Satan's reply explains the purpose of the Hedge.  He said, of course he loves and serves you but what would he do if he did not have your protecting hedge around him? Satan's exact words were, "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has?"  Tell Rosie that I have prayed God's hedge around Rosie, her home, her family, her husband and around everything she owns. While I was talking this over with God, I went ahead and asked Him to send some personal words from God just for Rosie.  Love, Bill

Dick, we are so sorry to hear about your traumatic winter. You and Rosie will be in our prayers for her health and a safe trip home. Love Ben and Dorrene

May 13, 2010
You are in my prayers as always.  Sorry to hear the horrifying news.  Thank God for our Rosie and Dick.
Love,
MaryLou

Father, our own sister, Phyllis is asking for your powerful help.  Her younger sister, Patti needs the Holy Spirit to wash over her, over her son and over the rest of her family with comfort and hope.  Lord increase in each of their hearts great hope in your Son, the Holy Redeemer, as He ministers strength to carry the burden of losing there beloved John in such a tragic manner.  Jesus, Phyllis feels there is a great need for you to hold John's father, Patti's son, in a way that he knows he will survive losing his son because he will know that it is You, Lord doing the holding and fill him with faith to know you will never let him fall.  Guide him Lord to continue trusting in you and complete the work of his recovery.   I believe you will teach Patti to trust her total life to you and put an end to her receiving junk (bad luck) from this world.  Bring your healing comfort to this family.  All of us in the Holy Redeemer family give you our love and appreciation for hearing our prayers.  We Worship you.
Thank you, Author of Love,
Bill and the HR family

My Dear Phyllis:

I am so so very sorry to hear of Patti's loss.  Loosing someone you love is so hard and with his age life was cut way too short.

To God:   Please give Phyllis & family and Patti & family the strength, tolerance, patience to work thru their feelings during this difficult time.  We must never forget that YOU put us here to be givers and carers and make us stronger to support one another.  Let YOUR light shine on them and help guide them thru this horrible tragedy.

For Patti's husband God please watch over him closely.

You will all be in my prayers.  Never once doubt the power of prayer and believe.

Sincerely,
Mary Lou (Bourdage) Coleman

 October 28.2009
Job well done Bill!  Mary Lou also a job well done.  I will certainly Include Phyllis and her family in my prayers.  Good news and bad news is cyclical.  But it seems recently I have been receiving a little too much of the bad news.  I think it comes with the aging process.  I know good news is just around the corner.  I pray that we all receive some good news soon.

Ernie

Patti and family said to "thank everyone" for their prayers. It was a very emotional time when ever a child dies no matter the reason. Patti has a ton of friends and what I call her "family" where she lives. They may not be blood, but they are the people she lives her life with. The outpouring of concern, flowers, cards and food. Those southern people know how to eat, they not only brought over a dessert or casserole, they brought the whole freakin dinner. A couple of years ago she talked of moving back to Michigan, I didn't say anything but she has no friends here in Mi, she has lived in Florida for 40 years, after the funeral she said "my family is here, I'm staying"

Father, you have brought Gary so far and we thank you for that.  We ask you take him all the way to total healing.  Ask Jesus to reach down and touch Gary and bring out that peace you have said is already in him.
 Thank you Lord,
Bill

Thanks Bill for all your emails , our prayers and at our prayer meeting we will have Gary's name on top. Some times faith has more power and the  Lord is always with us , God Bless Janet

Dear Bill

Pray for Rosie Curtis
Bill,
I'll call you in a few days, as soon as Rosie gets out of the hospital.  I hate to tie up the line while she is liable to call any minute.  Had to put her in last Friday as she is Dehydrated again...the 2000 ml. of Saline solution I've been giving
her every day for the past month was just not enough to overcome the dehydrating effect of her Iliostomy output.
I spoke with a  GastroEnt Dr. today about something new in the market that might work to slow down her bowel
output...if it works, the dehydration can be controlled!!  Let's hope for the best!!!!

Later,
Dick

October 9, 2008
Bill,
Rosie is being transferred down to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit tomorrow...need some better experts than they have here in the
Flint area...with better diagnostics!  I thought she was coming home today and then they hit me with that news!
I don't know what to think.  I'm kinda numb right now.  Let's hope for the best!
Later,
Dick

Pray for the best that the Lord has for Rosie and Dick.

October 18, 2008

Bill,
Rosie came home Thurs. evening and I had to put her back into the hospital yesterday (Fri) afternoon...still having problems
that require hospitalization again.  They found blood in her stomach last night and will be doing further testing today...I'll
let you know how things are going as soon as I find out what is going on.  We both appreciate all the prayers...I think it is going to take a miracle to get her feeling well again...it has been a very long and bumpy road for her.
I'm glad you are feeling better Bill...I'll call soon...when I get a moment.  No, I never did get up north to see Ernie and Carol...just been busy full time for the past six weeks immersed in Rosies latest oddesy!!
Dick

October 22, 2008

Rosie is having more tests today and she is feeling a bit better...took a long walk with me today down the halls...she is sure looking forward to getting home again!  She sends her thanks for the prayers and is convinced that they are helping her...
she has found a couple of new Drs. that are showing some real insight to her problem.
Dick
Pray that the new Doctors have real insights to solving Rosie's problems.

October 24, 2008
Good News!

Rosie is home!!!  She is feeling quite a bit better and is again on the road to recovery.  Three weeks, three hospitals and three different cities...what an ordeal.  I got her home last night and even though her night was a tough one, she made it to daylight again and today is
feeling better.  Now she has to learn a new way to eat her meals (eight small ones a day) and has new medications to help her system
slow down.  I thank you all for the prayers you have sent our way...I know that they help but I feel that we are becoming a burden to our
friends always asking for your help.  Rosie has had a very difficult path to travel and it is nice that she has you all to keep her company!
Our deepest thanks again...God Bless you ALL for your positive thoughts for us.
My Warmest Regards to you all,
Dick

Of course we too are saying prayers for Rosie. We pray for comfort to both Rosie and her family. It has to be very difficult to keep up one's spirit when these events present.
We continue to pray for recovery and better health for Rosie.
Thanks for keeping every one informed and for letting them know our concerns and efforts to pray for her good health.
Thanks.
Sorry we are not better at expressing these things.

To Dick & Rosie:  I am not flowery with the words but want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers for strength and healing.  Phyllis & Jim Braidwood

I'm sure we have all been hurt monetarily in our retirement accounts by the recent events in Washington, but with Rosie's illness and Dick's worry for her getting better sure makes the money thing very insignificant.  The friendships we made during our school years have suddenly become much more valuable than I would ever have imagined.  Not only are Rosie and Dick in my daily prayers, but all classmates and families.  Thanks for letting me be part of a great group

Prayer Request for Bill
August 9 , 2008 :

This is what I sent to the Holy Redeemer prayer request site and, of course it didn't post. It came to Bill's email, so I'm forwarding it to you. I have no idea how Bill gets these requests on the actual site. He has a folder for Holy Redeemer classmates, but he uses Vista and I am confused about how to use it. It's not the name of a group for sending out multiple emails. I don't know what it's for. If I weren't so strung out right now, I might be able to figure out what to do - well, probably not. If you can think of a way to get this info to classmates, would you try. I'm very worried about him and he's so far away right now and unable to talk to me. He thinks I'm there with him right now. Thanks, Mary Jo
> Prayer Request : 8/9/08 Bill Spooner was in a motorcycle accident in Hagerstown, MD this afternoon. He was headed up to Michigan for a visit. What I know at this point is he is very confused, has a concussion, a broken facial bone, a large bruise in his leg, and has a lot of road rash. CAT scans show no brain bleeding or other internal bleeding. He was driving on an interstate so was going pretty fast and hit a guardrail. Observers indicated to police that prior to the accident, he was driving erratically. I don't know what to make of that. A daughter and I will be flying up to MD early tomorrow AM. We would greatly appreciate prayer for Bill - that his condition would remain stable and that he would recover well (and never get on that miserable motorcycle again) and for his family - we're pretty frantic at this point.
Thank you, Mary Jo Spooner

Ernie Pobocik
I talked to Bill's daughter, wife and Bill today.  They all agreed that he will be alright.  His daughter reported that he is underplaying the whole event.  She said there is no internal bleeding.  He is beat up pretty bad.  The bone in the facial area that supports the eye is broken and putting pressure on the eye resulting in double vision.  Ken Sjostrum talked to Fred Spooner this evening and said the surgery is scheduled in the A. M. for the eye area and bone.  Bill sounded good.  Speech was normal and strong.  But even he admitted that he was beat up and would require time to mend.  He said he was still coming to Michigan but he didn't know when and thought the motorcycle would not be in his future.  I suggested he get something with training wheels so he could have four wheels on the ground at all times and go much slower.  Something like a golf cart.

Bill is a very lucky guy.  It must be all that clean living!

Thanks for all your prayers . Bills spirits are high and I hope they stay high for the coming weeks.  Remember him and his family in your prayers. It sounds like they will have a long difficult road ahead of them.

From Bill: August 18, 2008
Hello Classmate friends,

Today, about a week later, my face is pretty clear of the scabs.
The left eye has returned to near normal.  I still have double vision at 12:00 and sometimes at 6:00 too, but only at a slight degree.  Wednesday, I will be checked by an optomogist and I feel it will be cleared.  My vision is good.  The Lasik surgery I had about 4 months ago has maintained a 20/20 distance accuity.  I use drug store glasses for reading.  In a few more months, however, I will choose to wear one contact lens for reading and no longer need any glasses.  On Friday, I have an appointment with the trama team.  My upper legs are still swollen and dealing with a lot of spilled blood that is floating around, waiting to be dispelled.  Most of the pain comes from my legs and knee areas.  Getting up and lying down is a slow and painful process.

Some have asked about my future travel plans.  It will be several weeks before I can answer your question.  An autumn trip to the Miller's would be great, however.
By Friday I will have met with an opthomogist and a team of trauma doctors.  Sunday I visited our local hospital and this is what the attending physician had to say:  "Your facial surgery site is doing well.  Your thighs are very swollen.  They each have a huge liquified blood clot, probably a liter of old blood or more."  These are the two main issues for the follow up visits scheduled for Wednesday and Friday.

Thank you for praying for my recovery.  Each prayer sends very heartfelt love messages and are deeply appreciated.  I have no idea what happened to me I will send more information once I receive the hwy dept report and the full report from my insurance company.

I was shocked to hear the news.   We will be getting a group of our people together   for some prayers for  Bill.   Faith and belief in our lord will always be our strength . Keep in touch and I will be  waiting for some  good news .  Always Janet Trudeau Bernal

Ernie,
We read the email about Bill. Gosh, when we marry don't wives get a vote on some of this
travelling alone stuff? I do so feel sorry for Mary Jo and terrible about Bill in this situation.
We did say prayers for his recovery. I would guess she would be getting more details when she arrives. We ae hoping for the best.
Since we had just heard recently that he might want to travel west with diff. folks, this one surprised us.
Thanks for letting us all know. Hope you and your family are doing well. Our son Joe and family have moved to Louisville for his new job with the Army Corps of Engineers. So we are getting used to not seeing them as much. The twins have been a big part of our lives as they were so close.
It is just called adjusting I guess and frees us up to do more other things.
Give a call when you get news on Bill.
Mike and Jean

Ernie,
Bill is in our prayers...so sorry for Mary Jo to have to go through this worry and pain!!
Please keep us informed as you hear anything...I was expecting to hear from Bill today, but not like this!!!
Thanks for letting us know, Ernie.
Our warmest regards,
Dick and Rosie

So very sorry to hear of Bill's accident, but do you maybe think it is
God's way of saying "hey you old coot, get off that thing
and drive a car or take a bus."  Ernie, please pass on to him that he is
in our thoughts and prayers and would love to see him
when he gets here.  I'm in Colorado right now but will be home by Aug.
22nd.  Thanks for the info,  I love all of you.  Pab

Ernie,
Thanks for the update.  I will certainly keep him in my prayers.  It sounds like it could have been much worse for Bill.  God must be watching over him!

P.S. I tried out a Vespa scooter at a local dealer in Cañon City a couple of months ago to save on gas for local runs, but didn’t buy one.  The large SUVs and heavy duty pickups on the roads around here caused me to change my mind.

Ernie,Thanks for the update. Keep me informed, I'll keep on praying.

HELLO TO ALL:

Just wanted to let you know that Gary is doing better.  He had another Body Scan and nothing showed again.   He is no longer doing CHEMO.   He will have another Body Scan in 3 months which will be in August.   We keep praying that this is the new beginning.   Please keep him in your prayers and THANK YOU

 Rosie has more pain!

Rosie's spinal surgery was two weeks ago...she came thru ok but the recovery is very slow and painful...we go in on Tues. to get her 20 staples removed and then she should start feeling a little better with some less pain.
I took her out today for Mothers Day dinner around the corner in Davison at Applebees...first time out of the house since the surgery!!

Mary Lou Coleman

Well here I am again not checking my e-mail.  However, I did see Dick and Rosie at the Credit Union where we bank.  She looks great and getting around pretty good as far as I could tell.  Dick informed me that she had her surgery and she is recuperating.  The concern is that should her weight get down to 95 lbs and she will have to have the feeding tube.
I pray for her a lot along with Dick.

Please pray for my family, mother & brother Chuck for our recent loss of our dear brother Jim, age 66.  He had a massive heart attack on Dec.6th at home.  Jim graduated from Holy Redeemer in 1960.
Just to let you know my son Gary has started another round of Chemo and will have a PET SCAN on Jan 23, 2008 at City of Hope.
Thank you,
Mary Lou.

Thank you for all of your prayers and words of encouragement.  It is great after 50 years that we have connected as a great group.  I receive new strength each and every time I hear from my classmates.  We are survivors and will get through the tough times with God's help.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and your family

God bless you!!

Mary Lou

January 26, 2008

Just wanted to let you know that  Gary's PET SCAN on the 23rd at City of Hope turned out CLEAN ( meaning that they found no more cancer spots). He will have to have one or two more chemo treatment sessions.   He will have
those done here in MIchigan at KARMANOS CANCER INSTITUTE  in Detroit.  He and his dad are driving from California to Michigan and should arrive some time on  Sunday.   He is very excited to be coming home to MICHIGAN.  (Can you imagine, excited about SNOW!!)
I WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU  FOR ALL THE KIND NOTES, THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS FOR HIM.   I BELEIVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER AND IT WORKS.

I will be in touch and feel free to contact me.

THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Following is Mary Lou's response to my question regarding the original tiny spot on Gary's liver.
Bill

The original spot on his liver, which was the last surgery has been burned by laser and dead.  Nothing will appear in that area again and when the surgery was done in September the Doctor said at that time when he examined the liver he did not see any abnormalities.  However, the protocol is to wait and  scan again after 2 complete sessions of Chemo.  That was his 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off.   Those sessions were completed  on Jan. 10, 2008 and the 2 week waiting period was Jan 23rd.  The reason for the complete body scan is to make sure there weren't any break offs from the original Colorectal Surgery that he had in May that might just be hanging around waiting to attach like the one that attached to the Liver.  The Chemo should be taking care of all of that.  He is at Karmanos in Detroit today for his first week of the next 6 week treatment.   I will keep you up-dated as he progresses.

Sincerely, Mary Lou

Update

Just want to let you all know that Gary is doing much better.  He has had two more Body Scans and everything looks good.  He is off CHEMO for now.  He will have another Body Scan in August.  We are praying that this is the begining of the end.  Thank you for all of the past and current prayers for us.  You all are a great group of friends.

Love to all,
Mary Lou Coleman

For Mary Lou:

Lord I lift Mary Lou to your very throne room and ask you to send the holy spirit to be with her, with her mother, with Chuck and with the rest of her family and to turn their grief into joy.
Lord , thank you for Gary.  Thank you for all you have done for him and thank you for the healing you are doing in Gary.    Jesus let Jan 23, 2008 be the day we will especially give you all of our praise that you might receive glory.  For you alone are worthy and deserving of all our love.

Thank you Jesus for being our Holy Redeemer,
All my love to you,
Bill

For Mary Lou:

It is very touching to read the prayers from my classmates and I know that they are all helping Rosie continue her recovery...she is doing quite well thanks to all of you !!

I especially want to let Mary Lou know that we are praying for her son and his battle against cancer.  I know that she has been through some very hard times with him and we pray that it will soon be over and that he gains a complete recovery and that his PET scan in Jan. will be completely clear.  It is terribly hard to see your children suffer...we feel so helpless when this happens.  The prayers of our friends and loved ones DO help a lot...just to know that others are thinking of us helps a lot...it is very comforting.
Dick and Rosie

Thanks for your prompt sharing.
I feel relieved for you Mary Lou.  I hope you can find rest in Him who did the healing work while He was on the cross.
Spend some quality time on the mountain with your husband, Gary and the Holy Redeemer.
I love you,
Bill

So very glad it was a good report.  Will keep him in my prayers for a complete recovery and for strength for MaryLou too.

Prayers for May 30th requests:

Lord thank you for Rosie.  Her positive attitute towards You and life has grown during the suffering she has endured.  By choice she has chosen to be more aware of You and less aware of herself and her pain.  She has become a new creature in Christ and has learned much about her purpose in this life.  Rosie, I look forward to our next visit in August.  Thank you for sharing His love with us.

I pray our Lord gives you complete healing and continue to fill you with His joy and may the Holy Spirit increase space in your spirit to hold more and more of His love.

Lord cause Dick to continue growing in Your love, increase his faith and trust and let Dick and Rosie's union bring glory to You, our Father and the Holy Spirit.  Make them a blessing to all their brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Gary, your walk with the King is an inspiration to us.  I will continue thanking the Lord for touching your body and for speaking healing health to you.  Once God gives a gift He does not take it back.  It has nothing to do with you or anyone else.  He is just an Honorable God, He keeps his word just because of who He is.  God is Holy and gives unconditional love to his children.  We need to give him all our praise and glory to show our appreciation to Him.
I am happy for you, your mother, the rest of your family and friends.
Your brother,
Bill
